MEET JONI

I am a mother, grandmother, businesswoman, community volunteer, podcaster, and avid card player. One of my favorite things to do is play Bridge every Friday afternoon at the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center.  I’ve recently taken up gardening, and I enjoy playing board games with my family. When I have time, you can hear me playing piano or violin in the family’s music room.

I moved to Wilson County in 2002. My daughter is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and my granddaughter is a student at West Wilson Middle School. I have volunteered with many organizations, having served on the boards of the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Wilson, and Habitat for Humanity. I currently serve on the Executive Committee of the NAACP.  I’ve been active with the Wilson County Democratic Women, the Wilson County Democratic Party, and the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women.

I graduated from the University of Louisville with a BA in English, and I earned an MBA from Strayer University. For details on my professional careers, yes, I’ve had a few, visit my LinkedIn profile here.
